In order to ensure a successful development as worldwide leader for commercial tanning equipment, the JK Group, with the brand names Ergoline, Soltron and Sundash has, under the leadership of Volker Wendland, positioned itself internationally. Since this process is now completed the owner family has decided to engage more in the Management of the company.

In this context the Top-Management of the JK Holding will have a new structure. Volker Wendland will be leaving the company, with immediate effect. Herman Nanninga, son-in-law of owner Walter Kratz, will take over the position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the JK Group. In addition Herman Nanninga will be heading all financial responsibilities. Herman Nanninga has a strong international background and experience as successful Manager, among other with the Shell Corporation, KNP BT, DSM and Pactiv Corporation.

New Chief Sales Officer (CSO) heading Sales and Marketing is Jens-Uwe Reimers, who has gained deep industry knowledge, among other as General Manager of Ergoline International. Dr. Heinrich Komesker will remain Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the R&D, Production and Service divisions. The former Vice President of Finance, Thomas Moellers will leave the company effective immediately, but will continue working for the company on a consulting basis.

The new Top-Management is the basis to further strengthen and build out the No 1 position of the JK Group in the world. In addition to a clear focus on R&D, Production and Sales of innovative and technologically leading tanning equipment with a high investment security for salon owners, the new leadership of the JK Group will put a strong emphasis on Market- and Customer-orientation. The history of the JK Group has shown its closeness to the customers to be a strong success factor and will have strong Management attention.

With the new leadership team and the strengthened engagement of the family the foundation for a continued successful long-term development of the company is ensured.
